A great, great win Saturday by the Falcons at Army. The Black Knights jumped out with 2 quick field goals and I said during one of the commercial breaks we got em right where we want them. You knew Air Force would come back. The biggest play of the game had nothing to do with interceptions, or fumble recoveries or even touchdowns-it was the 3rd down and 21 yard run by Nate Walker in the 2nd quarter. He got the 21 yards for the first down, setting up Tim Jefferson's first touchdown run. It was a huge play. Also, don't overlook the return of nose guard Ryan Gardner. He was a BIG factor in the Falcons slowing down the Army rushing attack. Troy Calhoun said afterwards they are a different team with Gardner in there and he played his tail off. And How bout Quarterback Tim Jefferson. he got his bell rung a few times but he was HUGE in this contest. he does what a leader has to do when times are tough-he gutted it out on a bit of a gimpy knee and played one heck of a game. That Commander In Chiefs Trophy has a case waiting for it in Colorado Springs. Home Sweet Home

2 games left in the season. Saturday at home against New Mexico and Next Thursday at UNLV. More on that later in the week.
